Paul Lee Lander 7 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Paul Lee Lander was a casting director who moved to Folkestone with his wife more than ten years ago, he was a good friend who I will miss for his sense of humour and friendship. He died late last year.

You may never have heard of Paul but many of you will know his works the most popular of which was the Italian Job. Even if you never knew Paul you might comment on his films and casting skills.

I knew Paul, he was a bit posh, you must be the writer with the old Yellow and Black Bentley and talked old cars with Paul. I think he had two and you found a photograph or something about his dad's car?

Yes I had the Yellow and Black Bentley, 1931 3.5 lt Park ward sport saloon, Paul had a little Hillman convertible late 1930s and another car I do not recall the make as he kept swapping them. He really wanted either a Humber Pullman or an American Car, I think it was a Plymouth.

Did you know he also rescued Greyhounds, god knows how he managed as he was out of breath walking to the pub.
